Leonie is a Psychometrist in Private Practice, based in Pretoria. She holds an Honours Degree in Psychology, and is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF).

While studying, Leonie has worked at a private school in Pretoria where she offered facilitation services for children with Autism, Down’s Syndrome, Attention-Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

On completion of her qualification she was employed as an Intern Psychometrist at a company specializing in risk assessments. She has administered a wide variety of psychological assessments on consultation basis in the corporate sector. This included assessments for selection and employee development purposes in the banking-, security, courier- and mining environments.

Leonie renders psychometric services to various psychology practices in Pretoria and is active in the educational environment where she assists learners with subject choice and career guidance assessments.

She has been involved in the training of Intern Psychometrists completing their training the University of Johannesburg for several years, and is passionate about equipping future professionals with the necessary skills to become successful in their own careers.

Leonie is available for school talks at parents’ evenings and assemblies and covers a wide range of topics that may be of interest to parents and learners.

On a personal level, she is an outdoor-lover who enjoys travelling. When she is not busy adding value to the lives of her clients, you will find her hiking, doing something creative or cooking up a storm.
